STUDENTS & RESIDENTS IN HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONS
Clinical Training Opportunities
Southeast Alabama AHEC (SEAAHEC) serves as a liaison among academic institutions, students, and health care providers to facilitate clinical training in rural areas or medically under-served populations within our 15-county service area. Currently, training
opportunities are available only for students in these disciplines: medical, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant. Please note, placement is not guaranteed.
How to Apply for Training Placement Assistance
Students interested in utilizing SEAAHEC for placement into a clinical rotation must submit a resume, fully completed training request, and signed SEAAHEC Training Policy. All forms must be scanned and emailed. Photocopies are not accepted.
Please note: Due to recent changes in our objectives and our funding, as of September 1, 2019, we no longer have funds available to assist with mileage and/or housing reimbursement.
